There is just something so satisfying about a good sunrise, isn't there? Those first rays of light as they begin to illuminate the sky gently reassure us that a new day is here - that we get another chance to try something new. This reminder was made after my wife Kara kept telling me how much she loved watching the sunrise - every day she did it was a good day. And for good reason - science now shows how important it actually is for our eyes to get sunlight within 30 minutes of waking. But more importantly, the sun is an example how filling our lives with something big and bright has a way of illuminating everything around us.
